Go green with soy bean... candles!

With all the fuss about global warming these days, it's important for us to be more aware of what effects our environment. Even the littlest things matter.

Take candles for example. It's probably one of the most used item in the whole world. From whatever part of the world you live in, people use candles. But do you know what candle wax is made of? Paraffin. Do you know where paraffin comes from? Petroleum. And do you know what petroleum emits when burned? The notorious carbon monoxide. Yup.. killer stuff that. Apart from that, petroleum is a non-regenerable (is that even a word?) resource. Which means, if we use too much of it we will eventually use it all up and and as a matter of an inevitable coincidence, petroleum is the most used up resource in the world. Why.. there's even a war going on to fight over it.

So.. I would like to take this time to get all of you to go green. Let's reduce that green-house effect and eliminate global warming. Scientists have made numerous inventions with considerations to the environment with the funds from millionaire tycoons. Why can't we? Okay.. so maybe we're not all geniuses and millionaires that can make drastic measures, but that doesn't mean we can't do anything at all. Start with the little things... THE CANDLES.

Candles are used world-wide. Billions use them. So wouldn't it be reasonable to say that a candle can effect billions of people all over the world? So let's start from that.

Did you know that there is such a thing as biofuel? it's fuel, like petroleum, that is made from regenerable resources (that means we can generate more if we run out of it) such as plants. A popular biofuel candle is soy based candle. Said to be the hottest thing in the US of A right now. And by hot I don't mean flammable hot, but SOLD-OUT-IN-STORES HOT. Not only are they environmental friendly, but they last longer than ordinary wax candles and are more efficient. When they burn out they don't leave left-over wax. It's a good deal really. By using soy bean candles you can participate in saving the world. If you SELL them as well you can save the world AND get some benefits out of it.
